Raise Money With Our Poker Tournaments!

If you’re looking for a unique way to get money for your organization, poker tournaments from The Party Team are the answer! Our clients have had tons of success with these events in the past, and you can too! We provide everything you need to ensure the event runs smoothly, from tables and chips and cards to professional dealers.

How Do Poker Tournaments Work?

We make it easy to set up your fundraiser. All you have to do is come up with a guest list and a buy-in. Players who buy-in will be given poker chips to start the night. Typically, everyone will start with $5,000 in chips. As players get “knocked out” of the game, they can rebuy to get back into the game. Also, we can encourage “add-ons,” where players can buy additional chips as they play.

To ensure that the tournament doesn’t last too long, we will set up a blind structure and an itinerary of the night. The tournament consists of rounds – at the start of each new round, the blinds go up. We’ll adjust the timing and chip values based on your guest and table counts.

Ideas

Our professional dealers will assist any new players, and they’ll keep track of those who get knocked out. As the number of players goes down, we’ll consolidate tables until there is only one left. Those at the final table are in for top prizes, as determined by you before the event. The entire tournament is run by a Pit Boss, who handles the logistics so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

How Much Can I Raise?

Poker tournaments are one of the best money-making opportunities. We have many clients who’ve raised over $10K in a single night. Depending on the number of guests and the buy-in costs, you can get a lot of cash for your organization. Best of all, you can combine poker tournaments with other fundraising options, such as a 50/50 raffle, casino tables, or a silent auction.

Upgrade Your Poker Tournament!

While the focus of your event is fundraising, we have plenty of other options to help your guests stay entertained! Add-ons can include:

  • Event DJs – Keep the music flowing all night long! We can also facilitate announcements throughout the night.
  • Photo Booth – Bring some memories home with our photo booth prints!
  • Reception Games – For those who don’t want to play (or get knocked out), we can offer giant versions of classic board games!
  • Cash Cube – Our blizzard of dollars is the perfect incentive for more fundraising!
  • Plinko or Prize Wheel – Guests can buy-in to spin or drop the Plinko! puck. Another great way to offer prizes!

A Successful Approach for Non-profit Events

  • Paypal for registration of event
    Day of Tournament.

  • As your guests register, Vegas Concept’s will randomly place
    your guests at the tables.

  • We suggest starting each player with 3-k or 2,500 in chips for a
    three-hour tournament.

  • After play has begun, the computer moves the blinds up every 7
to 15 minutes for the first hour.

  • The blinds will start at 100/200 and increase every 7 to 15
    minutes 200/400, etc.

  • As this happens, players will be eliminated from the tournament.

  • Tables will be consolidated as we see 3 or less players at any
    given table.

Rebuys

  • Re-buy amounts should always be one half of the seats price
    donation.

  • Rebuys are for either 1,500 or 1,250 in chips. One add-on buy.
Rebuys will be for the first hour only.

  • What we have experienced at Fundraisers is that “UNLIMITED
re-buys” give the Tournament a new flare. Basically, a player
could pay to win the Tournament. We have raised more money
for our charities by allowing unlimited re-buys for local charity
    events.

Tournament Play

  • The first two hours VCI will do an eliminations style tournament.

  • As players are eliminated and drop out of the tournament, they
will leave their table. The Pit boss will move the remaining
    players to consolidate the tables.

  • The top 12 players will be at the final table in the last hour. We
will give the players a voucher for the total value of their chips at
the end of the two hours. Each player will come to the final table
with the amount of chips they had at the end of the first two
hours of play. They have to present the voucher to the Pit Boss
on the final table to get their chips. Then as play at the final table progresses, your guests will start
cheering for their favorite players. The final table really gets the
gallery into hooting and hollering for their favorite player.
